In this pastoral scene Dvora reveals her love for children with their happy faces beaming out of the picture. The blessings that surround them express the hopes of all parents that the Almighty will protect them as they step out into life.

There is a cherished custom for Jewish parents to bless their sons with the Priestly prayer: “May God make you like Ephraim and Menashe; May God bless and protect you; May He shine His face upon you and be gracious to you; May He raise His face to you and establish peace for you.”

This cheerful picture makes a lovely gift for any boy's bedroom or nursery.
